Sheikh Nasser and his wife, Honorary Trustee Sheikha Hussa Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, have been generous supporters of the Department of Islamic Art, providing funds for a range of initiatives and exhibitions, loaning art from their outstanding al-Sabah collection, and, most recently, endowing a curatorship in the department. Sheikh Nasser leaves behind an enduring legacy of art and humanity, and he will be deeply missed. We send our condolences to Sheikha Hussa and their family. Daniel Brodsky, Chairman; Daniel H. Weiss, President and CEO; Max Hollein, Director.
